Oracle to take on Cisco with new server hardware:ravi namboori

Oracle launched a new sever hardware, price of which is half of same such machines made by Cisco, said Cisco evangelist Ravi Namboori, citing an article on the Wall Street Journal.

To be named the X5, this new system will brand it with its engineered systems products.

A senior teed member of the Oracle said they want to take on Cisco by delivering virtual computing appliance machines, with optimal performance and lowest price this far, added Ravi Namboori

The new approach is to replicate Oracle’s old approach of bundling its software with hardware in a bid to have a long-term consumer base, concluded Ravi namboori.
